Stornoway Farmers' Market has around 80 crofters producers and growers on the Island of Lewis in Scotland. Produce sold on the stalls has been grown locally and is full of taste and flavour.
We open the stall at 8.30am till 1pm from May to December. You will have to be there really early because some produce we just cannot grow enough of; really fresh fruit and tasty vegetables. We pride ourselves that all produce (except dried produce) was still growing, usually 24 hours before being offered for sale because it was.
