As an animal cartoonist, Alison served her youthful apprenticeship pushing loaded wheelbarrows through various stables, falling off a succession of ponies, and looking after dogs of all types and sizes at more than a few boarding kennels.
Her time was used for drawing animals for friends and family and just for fun! Before long, the drawing hobby took over from the day job, and Alison is now a professional cartoonist with commissioned work worldwide.
She also produces original art for many dog breed and rescue organisations every year, she is commissioned to design Christmas cards for several major dog charities.
Both the cards and prints are extremely popular, purchased by young and old and provide an excellent opportunity to guarantee additional sales all year round.
