About Wykham Park Farm Shop

Delicious quality foods...

The emphasis in the shop is on fresh, home-grown or locally produced foods that are fully traceable with as few food miles as possible.

In addition to asparagus, seasonal fruit and vegetables grown on the farm, we sell our own home-bred Aberdeen Angus and Longhorn beef, as well as grass fed lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork.

Our friendly, knowledgeable butchery staff are on hand to give advice on all meats ranging from our own beef and lamb to local welfare friendly poultry, pork and veal.

We offer a wide range of cuts including a large selection of joints for special occasions, BBQ meats, home-made burgers and our own sausages. There is a monthly meat special for those looking for a tasty bargain.

The shop is also stocked with a wide range of tempting goodies including home-made cakes and ready meals, farmhouse cheeses, Jersey dairy products, luxury fruit ice creams, home cured bacon, local preserves, fruit juices, honey and much, much more!!!

Home grown at Wykham...

Over the years, we have built up a reputation for our asparagus, so much so that we are often referred to, locally, as 'The Asparagus Farm'. We harvest it daily during the season from the end of April through to mid - June. Customers can see this, together with the grading and packing when they come to the shop to buy. We also offer a mail order service for asparagus, despatching within two hours of cutting, so like the asparagus sold in the shop, freshness is guaranteed.

In addition, we grow over 30 other varieties of vegetables and fruit on the farm ranging from artichokes to pumpkins to raspberries to wet walnuts. All are picked daily when in season.

Following the very popular cheese tasting day, this coming Saturday, the 19th March we are holding a Sausage Tasting Session from 10am to 2pm.  We do hope this will give customers the chance to taste a wide range of the varieties we make in the shop.  All customer feedback and suggestions gratefully received!

We are pleased to say our home-grown  pink forced RHUBARB is now available at £4.95/kg, and we also have home-grown pink and white paeonies for sale at £2.95 per pot.  They are scented doubles, and therefore suitable for cutting as well as for flowering in the garden.

Our meat packs for March,  representing great value at £50 each,  are as follows:-

Pack A

1lb diced steak, 1lb minced beef, 1lb braising steak, 1lb pork sausages, 4 chicken drumsticks, 4 slices of belly pork, 1 Farm Fresh Chicken, 4 lamb chops and 3lb Topside Joint
