Beautiful location in the heart of Montpelier in Picton Street, this was the original wholefood shop in Bristol, opening way back in the early Seventies (could even have been the late Sixties). Charming building houses an excellent choice of wholefoods and groceries, plus a very welcome organic fresh fruit and veg section, as well as a juice bar and a caf out the back.
The shop has an excellent deli section too for those wanting a quick wholesome snack. Thriving notice board serves as dynamite community contact zone, with allsorts of stuff up there worth a visit just to keep in touch with whats going on.
Certain products are produced on the premises - quiches, salad boxes, houmous etc, and the jams and chutneys operate on a deposit scheme, refunded on return of the jar. Radford Mill welcome carrier bag donations which are then sent back to the four corners and my back yards with organics inside.
