Plumgarths Farm is, essentially, a family run business... (the family now extending to include other quality farms and suppliers in the region)... dating back to just after World War 1. Our ongoing popularity and success has always been geared to the fact that the animals benefit substantially from grazing on these lush pastures a significant element and reflected in the flavour ultimately enjoyed by you, the customer. This home produced theme is constant throughout our work at Plumgarths - from free range eggs to honeys, mustards and jams and it is, of course, always accompanied by fastidious attention to hygiene and correct storage.
Highly commended for all our produce, it is, however, the constantly high quality of our meats on which Plumgarths enviable reputation is founded. All animals are grass fed and sourced locally from reputable farmers who have the same ethical values as ourselves.
Beef and lamb originates from our own farm and is hung for a minimum of 21 days to ensure maximum flavour and tenderness. It is then served, or delivered, to you chilled and ready for cooking or freezing.
