Hailsham Farmers' Market was started in 1998 when farmers' markets were in their infancy, and their popularity would be a test of time.
It has now been proved they are an outstanding success, and our Farmers' Market is no exception.
Atr the farmers market you'll find e plenty of seasonal food on offer including fresh meat, fruit and vegetables, homemade jams, pickles, cakes, bread, free range eggs, apple juice, honey plus it's wax products. There will also be a large variety of plants and herbs available for purchase.
In the Calf Pens area will be the Craft section. Here a wide variety of gifts can be purchased. These are homemade soaps, cards, hand knitted items, beaded jewellry, and wood crafted products.
Hailsham Farmers Market is entering the Sussex Food and Drink awards 2008/09. There are a variety of categories in this competition and we are entering in the Best Farmers Market section. We are looking for your support, and voting forms will be available at the Information Stand. We thank you for your support in advance.
