Held the 4th Saturday of each month the market is in the centre of this delightful town.
The countryside area surrounding Blairgowire is famous for the cultivation of soft fruit so to visit this market between March and October is a great experience especially for those who like making there own jams. Throughout the rest of the year there are up to 20 local producers at the market with a wide variety of local foods to choose from. The area around Blairgowrie is Europe's centre for soft fruit production with many farms inviting you to "pick your own" strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants, and tayberries. A must for jam makers.
