Farmshop recently launched its new look website at the BBC Summer Good Food Show attracting 150,000 visitors over the 5 days. Farmshop were sponsoring the Great British Food Festival at the Good Food Show and the interest in the new site was beyond all expectations.
Hundreds of consumers tried out the site to locate farm shops within their locality, as well as farmers markets and other local producers. By simply entering their postcode, farm shops appear in the listing displaying exactly the distance from the customer, their location and produce sold.
Farm shops and local producers were signing up during the show adding their own listing and micro-sites and were impressed with the potential that Farmshop.uk.com offers them in terms of expanding their customer base and increasing sales.
